Private Event Rates

The Riverwalk offers an unique outdoor setting for this almost any occasion. Here is a list of areas we rent for private events:

Lake Elizabeth Pavilion
$150.00 - First three hours
$50.00 - Each additional hour
$250.00 - Security deposit (due at the signing of a special event permit - refunded within 30 days after the event)

Boettcher Outdoor Education Center
$175.00 - First three hours
$75.00 - Each additional hour
$250.00 - Security deposit (due at the signing of a special event permit - refunded within 30 days after the event)

The Grand Staircase at El Pomar Plaza
$150.00 - First three hours
$50.00 - Each additional hour
$250.00 - Security deposit (due at the signing of a special event permit - refunded within 30 days after the event)
Note: Water Fountains will not be turned off so plan accordingly

The Xcel Energy Stage and Confluence area
$500 - Per six hours of use
$250.00 - Security deposit (due at the signing of a special event permit - refunded within 30 days after the event)

Kelly Falls, Farley/Reilly Fountain, Small Gazebo or Francis of Assisi Area
$75 - First three hours
$25 - Each additional hour
$250.00 - Security deposit (due at the signing of a special event permit - refunded within 30 days after the event)

Security: A security guard is required for every event. The required ratio is no less than 1 officer per 100 people. The security arrangements must be made through the HARP Authority Office. The rate is $20.00 per officer per hour. Note, the head security guard on duty will be responsible for noting your arrival and departure time and for keeping the check-off sheet. Your signature is required on the check-off sheet to recieve a refund of your security deposit.

Payment of Fee(s):
All rental fees, including Security Deposit, are due at the signing of the Special Event Permit. Until the contract is signed and all fees are paid the space will remain available to other parties.

Inclement Weather Policy:
The contract holder understands the Riverwalk is an outdoor venue and the HARP Authority will not refund fees due to weather conditions. If an event should require cancellation due to weather, the HARP Authority agrees to schedule a makeup date within the same calendar year. The makeup date is subject to space availability.

Security Deposit:
The HARP site must be cleaned of all refuse and debris. The permittee agrees to be responsible for all damage expenses. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days of the event if there are no cleaning or damage expenses occured. Decorating and clean-up must be conducted durring scheduled time and arrivals prior to or departure later than the reserved timeframe will be assessed additional fees taken from the security deposit. Note Birdseed and or rice are not permitted on site, we suggest bubbles as an alternative to these items.

Cancellation Policy:
The HARP Authority must recieve written notification of cancellation of an event. If the event is cancelled more than 21 days prior to the scheduled date, the HARP Authority will fully refund the rental fee. If the event is cancelled 10 - 21 days prior to the event the HARP Authority will refund 50% of the rental fee. If the event is cancelled less than 10 days prior to the event the HARP Authority will not refund rental fees. The Security Deposit will be refunded only if the event is cancelled prior to 72 hours before the scheduled date, deposit is forefeit if cancelled within the 72 hour time period.

Insurance Verification:
Proof of Comprehensive Personal Liability Insurance (homeowner's insurance) or Commercial General Liability Insurance must be provided at signing of the permit.

Restrictions:
No Alcoholic beverages allowed without a Special Use Permit from the City of Pueblo.
Food Caterers must be approved by the HARP Authority.
Tents cannot be erected without permission from the HARP Authority due to potential damage to the sprinkler system. There is a $50.00 supervision fee for non-HARP owned tents. A white 20 X 20 tent is available for rental through the HARP Authority for a $150 fee (which includes set up and tear down).
